How does competitor price monitoring work?

ProfitEdge regularly checks the prices of matched competitor products and records any changes. On each competitor’s detail page you can see:

• Price position — whether you’re more or less expensive on average
• Price trend — a 30-day chart showing how your position has shifted
• Recent price changes — a feed of individual price movements
• Matched products — a full table comparing your prices to theirs

If a competitor drops their price significantly, you’ll receive a price drop alert (visible on the Competitors page and via notifications if enabled).
